A different sort of hunt

Gabriel was used to being odd man out, the only Omega born to his small, powerful pack. But with two older brothers who were both Alphas, they were usually more concerned with their own power plays than Gabriel and his search for a mate.

Because heat when you were unmated? Sucked.

Michael would probably prefer to chain him up once a year and let him sweat it out, which is probably why he left home as his heat started to near.

If he was going to find a mate, it was going to be on his terms.

What he didn't expect was to catch a tantalizing scent at the local bookstore. Something that called up images of sunlight and pine trees and cool shade.

Dean nods once, squeezing Sam's hand before reaching down to chuck him on the shoulder. A father. His little brother's gonna be a father. He grinned and straightened up. "You worry about those two Sammy. We'll take care of the rest before you get home."

The quiet voices were enough to draw Gabriel towards waking and he stirs with a vaguely questioning sound. "S'm?"

Sam turns away from Dean, chuckling softly at the hit to his shoulder as he presses his lips to Gabriel's hair. "It's just Dean, Gabe. He's heading back. Just wanted to let us know so we weren't worried."

"Mm." He stretches slowly, blinking up at Sam as the door to the apartment is closed and locked. "He's probably going to hightail it to Rosie's before leaving town. Stock up on pancakes and diner coffee first. Sugar, caffeine and the same five freaking tapes we listened to the entire way up."

"Yeah. That's a roadtrip with Dean." He won't really relax again until he hears the Impala's engines start up. "He has his driving music, and most of it is 80's hair bands." But, well. He knows that's what his brother likes. Or, at least partly, that was what their dad likes and Dean had picked up some of it.

Of course, Gabriel stretching brings Sam's attention back to him with a hum of appreciation.

The hum draws a slow, sleepy smile as Gabriel settles in against him, raising up for a kiss. "Guess that means we've finally got the place to ourselves, huh?"

Sam shifts a little, so that he can press a kiss to Gabriel's lips. "Just waiting to hear the Impala leave." Since he knew that engine like his own. "Then, I imagine we can get to a little bit of our own celebrating."

"I think he knows better than to leave and come back," he smiles against his lips, hand slipping beneath his tshirt to find warm skin. Sure they might be waiting for Dean to leave, but that doesn't mean he's going to wait.

"He could have forgotten something!" Though, the odds on that are small. Sam squirms slightly, turning onto his side so that he can reach Gabriel more easily, his own fingers finding the hem of Gabriel's shirt to slip underneath as well.

"Then that's a risk he's going to have to take. Or he can wait for us to bring it home in a couple of days." Gabriel grins wickedly against his lips, ducking his head to nose at his jaw. "I think we've waited long enough, don't you?"

"Mmm. Well, it has been a few weeks..." Because Gabriel wasn't able to get up to the university as often as either of them would have liked.

He growled softly, raising up a bit to be able to push Gabriel over onto his back, holding himself above the other man with their hips pressed together. "I've missed you, you know."

"Exactly. So he should know better."

Gabriel rolled easily with him, settling both hands on his waist as Sam pinned him to the bed with his weight. He never felt trapped like this, only sheltered and warm. Sam was his and he loved him. "I missed you too, Sammy." A careful shift and he raised one leg, pressing his knee against his hip.

It probably helps that Sam is incredibly careful of the fact that he outweighs Gabriel by a fair amount. He always lays down over his mate while paying mind to weight distribution so as not to crush him.

He bends, pressing his lips to Gabriel's as he settles over him slowly. "When you can shift again," he murmurs, "I want to take you on a proper mating run. Our wolves haven't really had a chance to meet each other."

And, he has to admit, he wants to consummate their relationship in their other forms as well. Which isn't uncommon among wolf shifters, he's found.

Gabriel always trusts Sam over him, trusts his control and his care. He laughs softly against his lips, squirming pleasantly at the suggestion. Something always came up, keeping them from a good and proper run as wolves and now? Well. They were just going to have to wait a little longer.

"Mmm. That sounds like a wonderful idea. I want you to mount me when you're shifted." Another first for him, and definitely something else to look forward to.

"Long as you're okay with the fact that wolves knot for longer than we do in human form." And a wolf could knot even when their mate wasn't in heat. He rocks down, pressing their dicks together through layers of fabric. "I want that, though. I want you in every way I can have you, mark you in every way I can so that no one would dare try to tear you away again."

There's very much still a part of Sam that wants Micheal's throat between his jaws. But he's trying his best to ignore that for now.

"There is nothing about that sentence that I don't like." Gabriel loved taking Sam's knot and as a wolf it would be that much more intimate, letting Sam take him when they were shifted.

He turned his head, burying his face against Sam for a long moment, breathing in his scent. There had been some moments of stark terror in the bakery when Michael had attacked, moments when he was sure that he would never see his mate again. "I do too, Sam. Any way you want me, you've got me."

He can feel that in the tension in Gabriel's body. Which is exactly what Sam doesn't want right now. He bends his head, pressing his lips to the spot where he can just see their bonding scars on Gabriel's neck. "Well, right now? I want you naked. And full of my cock as soon as we can manage it, hmm?" He rocks down again, letting Gabriel feel the hard length of him again.

The tension starts to melt away as Sam nuzzles his neck, breath tickling along the scars on his skin. A reminder of their bond. Gabriel whines as Sam rocks down against him and the heat and promise in his words. "Then help me get these clothes off, Sam. I want you in me."

Sam grins, pushing up so that he can pull off his shirt before reaching for Gabriel's. "Later," he says, pulling Gabriel up. "Later, I'm going to take my time. I'm going to kiss you all over. I'm going to suck you off and I'm going to eat you out before fucking you again." He reaches down for the hem of Gabriel's shirt, pulling it up. "I'm going to suck your nipples until you're begging me, baby. Until you're shouting at me to take you again, until you can't do anything but feel me for the next few days."

And if those promises don't distract him, nothing short of a Mac truck to the face will. Gabriel raises his arms as Sam tugs off his shirt, wrapping himself around the warm, solid form of his Alpha. His Sam. "I'm always begging you Sam. There's nothing I like more than you stuffed up inside me, fucking me until I can't remember my own name."

Sam pauses a moment, then laughs softly as he wraps around Gabriel in return, bending to kiss him. "We're going to scandalize the pups, you realize." Couldn't keep their hands off of each other, after all.

With a laugh, he slides eager hands up Sam's chest, dragging him close. "Completely. So we're going to have to make sure to regularly hire a babysitter. Because there's no way I'm giving this up, even with a houseful of little ones."

He goes with the pull, leaning down to kiss Gabriel again. "I guess I'll just need to get my ever-so-stereotypical Alpha desire to have you naked in the house under control before the little one arrives." It's a fantasy, he knows that. And yet, it's still there sometimes and nothing he'd ever try to force Gabriel into.

Though, for the moment, he does reach down to undo Gabriel's jeans, rubbing his hand over the Omega's length through the cloth.

Gabriel laughs into the kiss, raising his hips towards the friction and reaching to shove his jeans down and off. "You'd better not. Otherwise I'll have to scrap my plans of meeting you at the door later wearing nothing but an apron."

Because with Sam, it's never about control. It's about want and heat and mutual affection.

It takes all the control he has to pull his hand away to get rid of his own jeans. Because touching Gabriel is so much better than even getting out of his clothes. "If you're wearing an apron, I hope you aren't planning to make anything that's time sensitive. 'Cause you might be spending the next while bent over the table. Or the counter." He punctuated each with a kiss and a soft growl. "Or maybe I'll sit on the couch and have you ride me."

Gabriel groans, reaching down to wrap his hand around Sam and stroke him firmly. "You know I'm gonna hold you to all of the above, right?" There was something thrilling about the way Sam manhandled him. Power and care in the way he held him, riding into him until there was nothing but heat and scent and low, hungry sounds tearing out of both of them.
