Gabriel was used to being odd man out, the only Omega born to his small, powerful pack. But with two older brothers who were both Alphas, they were usually more concerned with their own power plays than Gabriel and his search for a mate.

Because heat when you were unmated? Sucked.

Michael would probably prefer to chain him up once a year and let him sweat it out, which is probably why he left home as his heat started to near.

Gabriel groans, reaching down to wrap his hand around Sam and stroke him firmly. "You know I'm gonna hold you to all of the above, right?" There was something thrilling about the way Sam manhandled him. Power and care in the way he held him, riding into him until there was nothing but heat and scent and low, hungry sounds tearing out of both of them.

His hips push into Gabriel's hand, another groan passing his lips as he nips at his mate's lips. "I would have taken you over the counter in your bakery that first time," he admits, shifting a little so he can kick his jeans off. "Took everything I had to take the time to get you upstairs." He begins moving, pushing Gabriel onto his back to lay over him. "I have every intention of fucking you on every surface available in the house until you're too big with pup for me to do so. Though even then, I'll still fuck you wherever we can manage."

"And I wouldn't have stopped you or even complained." He drags Sam over him, stroking him again firmly once the rest of their clothes are out of the way. "I think taking me over the counter should be on the list, especially in our kitchen."

Seven months isn't that long, not really, but it's still strange to think how much he's going to change in such a short amount of time. "Then I'll just have to push you down on the couch and ride you when the pup starts getting in the way." Gabriel's legs part, raising his knees to frame Sam's hips as he settles in close above him.

Sam reaches down between them, sliding his fingers to find Gabriel's entrance, just running his fingers over it for the moment. "Over the counter. Over the table." He presses his finger in, just the tip. "Anywhere you want me to, baby."

That finger gently sliding in steals his breath for a moment and Gabriel laughs against his lips. He hooks one leg over Sam's and raises up, pushing hard against one shoulder, rolling Sam onto his back. Sure Sam lets him do it, rolling with the change in direction, but that doesn't make it any less hot as he straddles his hips with a wicked grin.

"You mean like this, babe?"

The move makes Sam's finger slip out of Gabriel, but he doesn't mind so much. Because that's his mate over him, looking down at him with that wickedness in his expression.

"Yeah," he agrees, laying his hands against Gabriel's hips. "Yeah, exactly like that."

It really is Gabriel's favorite position overall. He likes it when Sam gets a little forceful sometimes, pushing him down in his eagerness to simply sink into him and it's amazing. But this? This is his favorite.

He gets to set the pace, gets to watch Sam react to every move of his body, the way the muscles in his chest and arms pull and shift with him. And he gets to see every expression as he rides his mate to completion.

"Good. Because I don't think I"m going to let you up from this for awhile."

And Sam likes it a lot when Gabriel takes control, when he does as he likes. He also likes that he doesn't have to be the stereotypical Alpha, always in control. Changing things up is a good thing.

He slides his hands up Gabriel's sides, then back down to his hips. "Mmm. So, if I'm not getting up for a while, what am I doing?" And grins because whatever Gabriel wants will be great.

Leaning close, Gabriel kisses him, rolling his body against Sam's. "Like you said. We're gonna celebrate. I'm going to suck you first and then I'm going to ride you until I can take your knot. And when we're done? I'm going to do it again."

Because he likes being able to take control, taking care of him like this. There was nothing quite as incredible as watching Sam looking utterly wrecked after he rode him.

Sam pushes up into the kiss, not trying to take control but certainly letting Gabriel know how hungry he is for it. His hands slide upward again, thumbs brushing over Gabriel's nipples. "Mmm. That sounds absolutely delightful."

Absolutely no problem giving up control to his partner. Maybe that doesn't make him much of an Alpha in the eyes of some, but Sam doesn't care. Because the only thing that matters is his mate.

It's one of the reasons Gabriel loves Sam so much. He doesn't care as much about traditional roles when it came to the pack. Sure he was the Alpha, his mate and protector, but Sam let him take charge in bed sometimes and didn't care that he ran his own place.

He hums at the brush of his thumbs, slowly kissing his way along Sam's broad chest. "Good. Because if we're going to celebrate, we're going to do it right."

Not that he minded. He'd sleep better with Sam anyway.

"I think we can handle that." The grin isn't going anywhere, but Sam does take his hands away from Gabriel so that he can move. "I know. Body is adjusting and needs a lot of rest to deal with the changes."

Gabriel hums against his skin, letting his lips ghost over the familiar planes of Sam's hips as he works lower. They'll talk details later. Right now he's just going to revel in the scent and touch of his mate. After so long apart, this is where he wants his focus to be. On Sam.

He nips at a thigh before cupping him with one hand. "Missed you Sammy."

Really, there's just going to be a lot of sex over the next few days. Luckily, there isn't that much left to pack up in the apartment.

Fondly, Gabriel brushes the hair away from Sam's forehead. "'Course we do. " Call him sentimental, but Sam was bonded mate. They fit together because he'd been waiting his entire life for him. With a breathy sigh against his lips, Gabriel rocks down against him until Sam is comfortably seated in him.

"I'm yours Sammy. Always have been."
