"So that's how you end this Sam." Lucifer has never looked quite so smug as he laid out his proposal. "Have sex with my brother and I'll make all of this go away."

"Lu, don't do this."

"He can do this my way Gabriel, or he can watch you die."

Gabriel turned away from the ruined face of his brother's vessel. He was willing to give up ending the world for the sake of breaking his heart, of destroying any chance Gabriel might have had with Sam. Tainting every future interaction with this.

"Sam.. just go. You don't have to do this."

The touch was both better and worse. Sam had never touched him before and for one wildly selfish moment, he wanted to lie to himself, pretend that Sam really wanted him, that it wasn't just Lucifer's plan to hurt him in the worst possible way.

But as much as he wanted to lean into that touch, Gabriel was certain that Sam would never get this close to him again. Not with the memory of coerced sex hanging between them.

"I never wanted it like this." A weak final protest. "I'm sorry Sam."

"I know." He was pretty sure neither of them wanted this. That was the whole point, right? "I'm sorry too."

For not saying no, for landing them both in this situation... for a lot of things. Getting used to hurt anyone like this didn't settle well with him. He let out a sigh.

He shifted in a little bit closer, voice lowering. "I asked you a question, you know... Just tell me what you want. I'll do it... anything."

It was twisted probably, selfish, but he thought if he could at least give Gabriel whatever he's been thinking of? Maybe it would be a little bit better.

Even angels weren't exempt from fantasies, and he'd be a liar if he said that Sam hadn't been a part of them the last few months. So here he was, getting everything he wanted and Gabriel can't really recall the last time he'd felt so miserable.

But it would keep Sam safe. Keep him alive.

A hand on his waist, Gabriel gently drew Sam closer. "He was right, you know. A-about me." Ever the coward, he still can't say it.

"I won't hurt you. I'll be careful. If you'll let me."

Because fuck Lucifer. He'd find some way to show Sam he was really loved in. this whole twisted scheme of his brother's.

He wasn't worried about getting hurt, really. Maybe he should be, but Sam hadn't really been thinking about himself at all. There was too much riding on just doing this, making sure Gabriel got out of here alive because Sam didn't want more blood on his hands.

Hearing the confirmation, an actual confirmation, kind of made this worse.

He let himself be pulled in closer though and brought his arms up to come around his shoulders. "You love me."

He didn't know why, not an angel. Not when he was an abomination, Lucifer's own vessel... He dropped his eyes to the floor between them, jaw tightening. "I... don't really know what to say. I'm sorry."

He'd apologized earlier, but he needed to say it again. He couldn't really say it enough, about everything he's done. Doesn't really change it or make it better though. He did shift in closer, just that much more so he could bend in and speak against Gabriel's ear. Like that'd keep anything private between them when Lucifer was in the room...

"It's fine. Told you... anything. You can do anything you want and we'll... we'll figure out the rest when this is all over, okay?"

Well. That was it then. What Gabriel felt was one-way. He really shouldn't have expected any other reaction. But that doesn't stop a quietly broken sound from slipping free at his apology.

"'s okay Sam. You don't have to say anything."

Damning his brother in his heart, Gabriel wrapped Sam close, bringing them to the nearest unoccupied room. "He's not watching this. If this is really what you want." One last chance to back out. Because Gabriel isn't sure he'll be able to stop touching once Sam lets him.

"I'm sorry Sam. For everything." But Father help him he couldn't be sorry for loving him the way he did.

That sound made him wince a little. "It's just... now's not the time to talk about it."

Not with Lucifer there. Sam wasn't giving him anything else to use against them, wasn't giving him any reason to change the deal.

But they were in a private room soon enough and Sam felt some of the tension easing up. It felt like he could breathe again at least. He shook his head at the one last offer to back out. That wasn't happening. "He'll know if we don't do something, you know."

They couldn't lie their way out of this one. Shifting closer, he leaned in again, this time to press his lips to the angel's, slow and tentative for now.

"Don't. You weren't the one who released Lucifer," he murmured against his mouth. "We'll figure this all out after. I meant that."

His hands went to cup the sides of Gabriel's faces, guiding him into another kiss.

If there was anything to talk about. Sam didn't feel the same and the revelation itself was enough to break him and they hadn't even gotten down to business yet.

The kiss steals away the last of Gabriel's resolve and he sank into that first press of his lips. Slow, tentative and bittersweet. Gabriel shook his head as Sam broke the kiss.

"Heaven and Hell manipulated you into it Sam. You wouldn't have done it on your own." And he'd believe that for the rest of his existence. Sam, despite the taint of demon blood, had a good heart, an immeasurably brilliant soul.

He let Sam set the pace of the kiss, they'll take all the time he needs to get comfortable with what they were being forced into. For now, Gabriel is perfectly happy to sink into the big hunter's arms and the feel of his softly parted lips on his.

He was confused. He had no idea Gabriel gave a damn about him beyond the whole either stopping Lucifer thing or giving in and playing his part. He was an abomination by angel standards... and probably everyone else's too. It's not like he hasn't seen some of the looks Dean's given him before.

But yeah, that was not helping this situation at all. He had to stop thinking about it.

It was easier to just sink into the kiss, focus on that. He didn't break the kiss, but he did shift against Gabriel to work off his jacket, letting it drop to the floor. After that, he went to wok on the angel's, pushing the fabric down off his shoulders as he deepened the kiss.

Gabriel couldn't exactly come right out and tell Sam how he'd felt, not without the very real worry that the young hunter would freak out, bolt, or wind up doing both. He wasn't an abomination, not in Gabriel's eyes.

They had to do this, consequences be damned.

So maybe he could lie to himself, just a little bit, as Sam deepened the kiss and tugged his shirt up and off. Pretend for one small, wildly selfish moment that Sam wanted this as much as he did.

Quick fingers worked at the buttons of Sam's work shirt, seeking out warm skin beneath.

Now it was out in the open between them though, thanks to Lucifer. He might have preferred hearing it from Gabriel though, having it not be twisted into this.

But it hadn't happened that way and Sam was going to try to make this work. They kind of had to... a lot was riding on it.

Sam helped him push off his shirt, letting it join the quickly growing pile on the ground. He broke the kiss for a moment, meeting the angel's eyes briefly. He reached to capture Gabriel's hands lightly in his own, squeezing them. "Bed? You're calling the shots."

Neither of them wanted it like this, but Sam was trying to tell himself that he could make it a little bit better for Gabriel though. Give him whatever he wanted.

"Bed," he confirmed, threading their fingers together. It shouldn't be happening like this, but he could be gentle with Sam, maybe even show him how much he really cared before it was all over.

Raising up on his toes, Gabriel kissed the tattoo on his chest. "If you're sure Sam," he murmured. As much as he wanted to press Sam back onto the bed, to make love to him, to show him that he was loved, he didn't want to force himself on Sam.

Well. Any more than he already was.

This was... surprisingly gentle actually. A free pass to do whatever he wanted and Gabriel was being oddly sweet. He huffed out a laugh despite himself and took a step back, letting go of Gabriel to settle on the edge of the bed. He kicked off his shoes after and leaned back.

"You don't have to keep asking, you know. I'm sure. I want to do this." Well, Gabriel knew what he meant, he was sure.

"Just come here."

He would cheerfully go back to the lobby and throw himself on Lucifer's sword for that smile.

As Sam settled back, Gabriel followed until his shins bumped the bed. "You're crazy Sam. Completely out of your mind." There was only warm affection in his voice as he drew Sam into a heated kiss, sliding his hands along warm, bare shoulders.

"That's your idea of sweet talk?" There's no heat in his voice either as he leans up into that kiss, one hand coming up to rest at Gabriel's side to keep him close. Tugging at his lower lip when the kiss ended, he met the angel' eyes.

"For clarification, what did I do that was crazy this time?"

It was Gabriel's turn to huff out a laugh as Sam worried at his lip. He raised one hand to gently let it sift through shaggy brown hair. "Y'know when fate said you were destined to say yes to an archangel, I'll bet fifty bucks he didn't think it was going to be like this."

"You incredible, impossibly crazy human." Reaching between them, he opened the button of Sam's jeans, catching his mouth in another kiss.

"Huh..." That actually got another brief laugh out of him. He's not sure if it's nerves or what, but he can't stop it. "Well... if I had to say yes to an archangel, I have to say... I prefer this one."

And that was the honest truth.

When Gabriel went to undo his jeans, he couldn't help another wave of nervousness. This was happening... It was really happening. He pressed into that kiss, deepening it, focusing on that instead of the hands working at his jeans. It wasn't like Sam was inexperienced... well, he kinda was when it came to guys, but he'd figure it out. His own hands moved down over Gabriel's back, down his chest just to touch some more, feel.

The deeper kiss, the way Sam's hands drifted along his skin, it was enough to almost distract Gabriel from the shifting of muscle in his shoulders, a low wave of tension. Frowning Gabriel pulled back for a moment, cupping Sam's cheek with one hand.

"Hey. Y'okay kiddo? We can.. can change this up if you're not sure." He was more durable, needed less prep, and if Sam needed that control, Gabriel would gladly give him anything he asked for.

Gabriel broke the kiss and Sam met his eyes in confusion, breathing a little heavier. The reason he stopped became pretty apparent with that question though and he shook his head. "I'm okay... really. This is good. Just-- new to doing this with guys," he answered a little sheepishly.

"And angels, for that matter." Leaning up, his lips grazed over Gabriel's jaw before he nuzzled into him, enjoying the feel of warm skin against his.

"But it's okay... I don't want to stop."

New to doing this with guys. The realization hit Gabriel like a thunderbolt and he wrapped his arms around Sam, pulling him closer, kissing his hair. "Ah hell, Sammy. If you need to, you tell me, okay? I'm good with both."

Anything, as long as he can touch Sam like this, feel warm skin beneath his hands.

Gabriel kissed him again, a soft groan escaping him as he slid his hands down to Sam's waist.

He settled his arms around Gabriel's shoulders when he was pulled in even closer, arching up against him. Trying to show him it was fine, that he was fine. He wasn't sure his nerves would settle much tonight, not with the circumstances being what they were.

Though the kiss? Definitely helping. He let out a soft noise of his own against his mouth. "I'm good," he murmured against his lips. "Just keep going. Let you know if we need to stop."

This was wrong. He shouldn't be doing this, but with warm lips pressed against his, Gabriel couldn't stop himself. Another kiss, another murmured word of affection and he slowly pressed Sam back onto the bed.

"Okay Sam. You tell me if we need to. I'll go easy."

Slowly he tugged off Sam's jeans, leaving his underwear on and taking a moment to run his fingers down all that bared skin. He was already so hard it hurt, straining his jeans, but he'd give Sam what time he could to get used to things.

It was wrong. The whole situation was messed up and Sam really shouldn't be dragging anyone else along for the ride, shouldn't have let Lucifer put anyone else in this position. That didn't stop him from returning those kisses, shivering at the affection.

Sam was far from a virgin, but he really can't remember the last time he's done this with someone who's seemed to care this much. Ruby hadn't really given a crap about him, the random hook ups here and there didn't care about him for more than a night. He can't remember the last time he's taken the time to really go slow and enjoy this.

Shifting underneath him, he lifted his hips to help him take off his jeans before settling back on the bed. He laid back, licking his lips as his eyes roamed over the angel above him. While he might resent the circumstances that led them here, his body was more than eagerly responding to the attention. He was hard already and glad to be rid of his jeans, breathing heavier still.

He moved in to work his mouth over Gabriel's neck, wanting to taste more of him, explore more while he could. Reaching between them, he palmed him through his jeans. The motion was a little awkward, not used to doing this to another guy, but there wasn't any hesitation there. "I'm not gonna break... stop worrying," he murmured, trying to reassure him.

Gabriel couldn't help but take a moment to appreciate Sam beneath him like that. Skin flushed, lips red and appealing, and hard. He was about to respond when Sam palmed over him, heat and friction right where he needed it. A shaky laugh as he kissed along his shoulder and along the line of his collarbone.

He really was that breakable, and Gabriel couldn't forget that. Sam was mortal, fragile and however this played out, he had to keep him safe. Protect him.

"So I'm a worrier," he slid a hand beneath the waistband to wrap firmly around warm, heavy skin. "Sue me."

The first touch of his hand stole a soft groan from him, Sam tilting his face in to press against his neck. He rolled his hips slowly into the touch as his teeth raked over his skin lightly. For a moment, he just let himself get lost in those touches, enjoy the feel of his mouth on his skin and his hand on him.

Though soon, he moved to undo Gabriel's jeans, pushing at them to get them down.

"Never would've pegged you as a worrier," he murmured, moving his head to chase him for a passionate kiss. He bit at his lower lip playfully, tugging at it. "God... keep going."

The drag of teeth along his skin steals a groan from Gabriel. He stroked him firmly, only shifting away when Sam started tugging at his jeans. The circumstances sucked, and he couldn't begun to guess what the consequences would be, but for the moment he didn't care. Not with Sam shoving up into his hand like that.

"Guess I'm full of surprises today, hm?"

Wiggling free of his jeans, Gabriel knelt between his legs, kissing the hollow of his hip before sliding his shorts down and off.

Oh Father help him. Sam is perfect. Beautiful. All long lines and curves of muscle.
