Gabriel understands - at least a little more since talking with Death. Dad.. never did things the easy way. Or the clean way. But he's found his soulmates again and for the first time since Rome he feels complete. The lesson is one that he's learned from Sam and Jessica time and time again - live in the moment. Take the joy for what it is and that's precisely what he means to do.
"Oh I think we can keep you company for a bit. The books have been waiting all this time to get corrected, they can wait a little longer."
