He gives what he thinks is at least a shortened up version of his conversation with Death, and the explanation that they were bound together as soulmates and found each other lifetimes ago. Dean however, Dean hadn't been so lucky. His angel had been locked away until the fall and the other part of their little threesome was still cooling her heels in the Roadhouse in Heaven. So he'd ninja'ed in his way in to bring her back for Dean's sake.
