Gabriel's smile is no less fond as he smooths his hand gently through Sam's hair. "I know kiddo. It's a lot to take in. Just breathe. You remember us, you did the first time you woke up." And for a beat, silver glimmers around the base of his neck, a reminder of a life they'd shared ages ago.
