The hug is warmly returned and he would fold his wings around her too if it wasn't so risky. So long. It's been so long since he's been able to hold her close like this. Contact is so different in Heaven. Some angels insist that it's purer - twining grace and energy instead of basic touch but not Gabriel. Nope. You can't replace something as warm and wonderful as a hug from someone you care about.
He kisses her cheek. "Guess I'm better with sizes than I thought. Glad everything fits kiddo. I think we can log a few more hours before crashing out for the night. If we get an early start, we should be there by tomorrow."
