Why the shoes fit so well, she'll never know, but life seems a whole lot better with a pair of jeans, and she's smiling when she gets back to the car. "I'm really not going to ask about why everything fits so well--gift horse, do not look. But thank you." And she reaches out to embrace him for the first time in who knows how long. He does. "This means so much."
