Sam had to duck a bit on the stairs, though his long legs meant that he could keep up with Gabriel taking them two at a time.
Once they got to the top and the door was open, Sam bent, scooping Gabriel up in his arms before they crossed the threshold. He kicked the door shut behind them and turned, following the scent of Gabriel through to the bedroom. "Don't get to stay here much, do you?" The scent was faint, but one he could still pick up as he made his way to the room.
