Gabriel had heard the stories before, but always discounted then as myth. There was no way a wolf would be able to find a mate on scent alone, a destined pairing. Destiny was for the trashy paperbacks that he passed by, still tracking that scent. Strength and cool woods and a promise of belonging. No more running.
Rounding the corner, Gabriel came across a wolf settled in one of the comfortable back chairs. Tall, attractive, everything about him screaming 'Alpha'.
