Sam scooted down, moving from sitting to laying down and encouraging Gabriel to lay down with him. They'd both be more comfortable, especially if they weren't eating at the moment.

Admittedly, that had happened at the bakery and it had only been Gabriel and Sam there at the time. But it was still a surprise that they'd kept missing each other.
