"I have a couple I can bring," Gabriel leaned into the reassuring touch, letting the Alpha soothe the last of the tension from his shoulders. "This is gonna sound cliche as hell, but I never thought I'd have this. Someone who'd have my back and mean it." Someone who would do it because he cared, not out of some sense of control.
