Honestly, now that he'd calmed down some, Sam wasn't looking forward to separating from Gabriel. Knew it had to happen, that they had things to do before they could even consider going home the next day, but it was nice, just being able to lay with him and let the Omega's touch soothe him.
"Oh yeah, sunbeams are nice. There've been a couple of times when I've just shifted at school and flopped out in front of the window of my dorm or apartment in bliss." Not quite as lovely as going outside, but there were some people who still didn't really accept wolves for who they were.
